    Bill,

    I am in the process of updating one of our pages to reflect our events using the gallery, but am having trouble with the order of the images. I keep trying to move them around in the gallery editor, save, and save the page, but every time they are sticking in the same order. Can you help me on this? Here is a link to the page.

    Great question. The lightbox version of the gallery that’s bundled with the theme does not let you reorder the images in the gallery. Prior to WordPress 3.5, that didn’t matter too much because selecting and ordering the images wasn’t simple to do.

    You can disable the included lightbox gallery in the theme options page. That will bring back the default WordPress gallery which will let you choose and order images again.

    I do have a new version of the lightbox gallery that I’m rolling into the themes at the moment. The plan is to have all the themes updated with the new lightbox by the end of next week.
