Gallery Page Format

Hi,

I have inserted a gallery onto a page e.g. http://brightdawnfoundation.org/our-programs/
I really want the slideshow at the top of the page to display in the same order as the gallery I created. But, it always shows the oldest image loaded first up to the newest and ignores the gallery order. Is there anyway to change this?

Good Morning Jill,

Thank you for your business first of all. I do appreciate it. Great question too. You can set the order of the images in the slideshow. Here’s what to do:

1. Edit the page/post where you’re using the slideshow.
2. Click the “Add Media” button just above the main content box.
3. In the Media Library tab, there is a drop-down menu at the top where you can choose what images are displayed there. Select “Uploaded to this post.”
4. Now you can drag and drop the images that are there to set the order they are displayed.
5. Once you have that set, close the media pop-up and update your page/post.

That should let you set the order of the slideshow images. If you have any questions or trouble, let me know.
