Hey Bill! I hope you are doing well! I had a question: I want to put up a widget o my home page, that will allow people to vote for my shop in Best of Orange County 2015. The problem is a regular text widget won’t allow me a clickable link so I decided to put a featured post up instead. And if you look at my site, it takes up so much space. How can I either reduce the size of the featured post widget, or get a widget to have a clickable link? Hope you have a great weekend!

Hello Glynnes, all is well here. Just downloaded Star Wars Aftermath for a little Labor Day weekend fun.

Great question. You might try using the BlackStudio TinyMCE widget plugin. It adds a “visual editor” widget that has the same editor that the page/post screen does. That’ll make it simple to add things like links to your front page without having to use the featured post widget.

If it gives you any trouble, let me know.

    Have a great holiday weekend,
    Bill
