I saw that Epic has an update but I am not sure if I should update for fear of losing my css. I added a lot of codes to the style sheet and I would like to know if the Epic style will update too.

    Good Morning Dare,

Fantastic question. Anything you entered into the theme options, including the custom css box there, will be safe in the update. It’s always good to make regular backups so you’re prepared in case something goes wrong, but nothing changes in the update that would affect the options.

Any changes made directly to the theme files would be lost though. In order to preserve those changes you’d want to use a child theme. By placing your changes there, you can update the theme without having to redo the file changes.

If you have any questions, just let me know.

    Have a great weekend,
    Bill
