    HI Bill

    It works but since the top of the website (header) is quite large it “eats up” the top of the page. Do you see what I mean ?

    Any idea on how to link a bit higher ?
    Best regards

    ANSWER FROM BILL
    Hello Simon,

    Good question. You can link to a section of the home page. For the URL for the button, use this format:

    #home-one
    #home-two
    #home-three

    and so on. You don’t need to use a http:// , just the #home-one where “one” is the number of the home page section you want to link to.

    If you have trouble let me know.

    Take care,
    Bill

    Hello Simon,

    Great question. It is possible to move the hero section’s content higher up on the screen. Here’s how to do that:

    1. Go to your theme options page and choose the Advanced tab.
    2. Scroll down to the Custom CSS box and add this:

      .hero-copy  {
      	top: 30%;
      }

    3. Update your settings.

    The default distance is 40% so that will move it higher for you. You can adjust that value to find the right fit.

    Another option is to choose the smaller height for the hero section. The default is to have it full screen but there is also a version that is a set 600 pixels tall. If you go that route, it will also move things up.

    Let me know if you have any questions or trouble.

    Thanks,
    Bill
