Donor levels that show on the site

Hi Bill,
I read your suggestion with the Paypal donate button on this Foundation thread…
The group that I’m helping out wants a listing to appear on the site. So if I set up separate paypal buttons for each donor level, will something like this show up in site or is that just inside the PayPal account.:
“John & Mary Smith – Donated $xx for Meals”
“Bill & Jane Jones – Donated $xxxfor 1 Week of food, gas, hotel”
“Anonymous” – Donated $xx for dinner ticket
Also there’s a fundraising dinner event where people can sign up for x number of people and prepay for the tickets. Does paypal have an option for this or do I need some other kind of form?
Rebecca,
Great question. If I was setting that up, I’d create a page to list all of the donor on it. You’ll probably want to use a table to keep everything nice and neat. One plugin that lets you add in tables to pages is called TinyMCE Advanced. It builds on the built in visual editor by adding in more options including tables.
In the other post, they were looking for a way to add a given on behalf field to their donation form. You can add one of those inside PayPal if you need to.
For the dinner event tickets, I would use the Jigoshop plugin. It’s a good plugin that will handle selling the tickets, collecting the information you need and getting your payments to and from PayPal.
If I can help, just let me know,
Bill
