Donate Button Box

Hello,

Thanks for a great template! Question: I had to make our donate page a “page” and not a “product”. Is there a way to get the great-looking box back around the word Donate in the Nav?

Hi Theresa,

Thank you for your business first of all. Great questions too. You can change the url for your donation item from a “product” to something else. Go to settings in your dashboard and click on Permalinks. On this page you’ll see a section for the “Product Permalink Base.” This is where the URL structure is set for the WooCommerce products. You can use the custom one to set it to be just about anything like “campaign” “project” and so on. It’ll need to be all lower case and using dashes instead of spaces if you use more than one word.

Once you’ve changed that save your changes and that should do it.

You can add in the button border to any menu item. If you’ll in the navigation menu section of the theme instructions at https://support.organizedthemes.com/grassroots/ it’ll show you how to add that.
