Customize look of sidebar links

Hey Bill,
I’m using a plugin called ‘Custom Sidebars’ to create unique sidebar widgets. I’d like to change the look of the sidebar links from plain text hyperlinks to something like a button, or maybe a colored box, or even link an image.
Any of those will do. The main question is, “Is there a way to alter these plain hyperlinks to something more interesting?”
I’ve done something like this before using a ‘Links’ widget shortcode, but not sure how that would work here. Here’s a sample page: http://alabamachristianathletics.com/sports/softball/
Any info. is appreciated.

Gavin,
Great question. You could create a button inside a text widget if you’d like to with a shortcode. Here’s what you can addd into a text widget to create a button:
(Be sure to copy that code directly from the support site and not the notification email)
Just replace the http://yourlink.com with the URL you’d like to link to and the Button Text with the words you’d like to have in your button.
Let me know how that goes for you.
Thanks,
Bill
