Comment bo on pages

Hi Bill,

We were running a theme called Yoko. I believe they had a comment box similar to this one on the bottom of every page so that people can comment. They then showed up as above on this page. Is there a way to do this in the foundation theme? Thanks

You can add the option for people to comment on pages as well as posts. Here’s how to do it.

1. Go to the appearance section of your WordPress control panel and select edit to open up the theme editor.
2. From the list of files on your right, choose page.php and look for this spot:

3. Create an empty line right below that and paste the code below:
   
4. Save your changes.

That will add the comment form to your default page layout.

Hi Bill,

Another question, We have a widget for the recent comments on the sidebar. When you click on some of the comments they just take you to the page and not the comments. Any ideas? Here is a link to the site:

On the posts, it does take you down to where the specific comment is located. You’ll have to add in the comment template to pages that we talked about above to see them on pages as well as posts.
