Changing background colors

    Hi,

    Thanks for excellent customer service on this support blog.

    I am changing the background and text colors on the Progress blog.
    The black background to light grey and the white text to a dark blue.

    I attempted to do this through the appearance settings area, but it seems to have no affect. So, I guess it needs to be modified in the style sheet. How is this best done.

    And, given the amount of custom pastes in the css etc that you have provided for me, should I be using a child theme?

    Sorry, what I used to change things was…

    Theme Options/Styling/Custom Background
    and Content text Color

    Rick,

    I’m glad I’ve been able to help out so far. Let’s see if we can tackle this next issue for you.

    If you’ll look at the top of the Styling tab in the Theme Options page, there is an option there to “Include Custom Styling.” Set that to yes and update your settings. See if that doesn’t let the new colors come through.
