Can't see home widget areas

Hi Bill,

I wonder if you could help me; I can’t seem to get any of the ‘home’ widget areas to appear on the website I’m building. They appear correctly in ‘sidebar’ and ‘footer’. I have quite a few plug-ins running, mostly to do with WooCommerce, so I wonder if it might be one of those.

I’d be grateful for any advice you can give!

Good Morning Dave,

Thank you for your business first of all. Good question. Typically the home page widgets aren’t showing up when a different template has been selected for the home page. I took a look at your site and it does look like the home page template is selected there.

The theme has 10 different home page widget areas that you can use. I made that many so that you could have different sections of your home page styled in different ways from each other. In the widget section of your dashboard, these will be called Home One through Ten. It looks like there are some widgets there now so hopefully that means you were able to get those added.

It also looks like the hero section of the home page isn’t set up yet. In the theme instructions at https://support.organizedthemes.com/elite/ there is a guide to using the Hero Section of the theme that hopefully will be helpful there.
