Can't log in . . . and phone number not working in mobile platform

Hello. I successfully got my wonderful new OT theme up and running on GoDaddy and the only response I got from the clients was, “Wow! That looks amazing!” (They had input on elements but had never seen the theme populated with their own content.) But now I’m unable to log in where I usually do to edit the site:
http://lagrangehouston.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Flagrangehouston.com%2Fwordpress%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1
Also, the mobile version went happily live as soon as I activated the site on GoDaddy but the call link doesn’t work. When I click on the number on my iPhone, the call option pops up but there’s no target phone number. As always, any help is very much appreciated.
Good Morning Fred,
My apologies for not getting an answer to you yesterday. Site’s looking good there. For the phone number, edit your widget. Right below where you enter the phone number to display there’s a field for your phone number without punctuation. That will enable the link to your phone number to work when it’s clicked.
In HTML, the number without punctuation takes the place of the URL in a link. So what we have without it is text that appears clickable but doesn’t have the necessary reference so that it works.
I went to http://www.lagrangehouston.com/wp-admin and was redirected to http://lagrangehouston.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Flagrangehouston.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 which looks about right to me. The wordpress that was in the middle of the URL you posted looks like it’s gone. Occasionally when a site is moved, browsers remember where things once were and it can take just a bit to work through that. If you run into trouble there, let me know.
Have a great day,
Bill
Either I’m a plug moron or you’re the most helpful person on the planet (I’ll bet it’s both) but within 90 seconds of reading this just now, both problems were fixed. Thank you so much! Based on the analytics from the previous Duda version of the mobile site, we get about 10 phone calls a day so repairing that was critical. Speaking of which, now I need to figure out if there’s an analytics option or if I need go stick some evil Google Analytics code in there.
Thanks again, Bill. Hopefully I won’t be bugging you until the next time I buy an OT template, which will probably be mid next week. Ha.
I’m glad to hear all is well now 🙂
I often do use Google Analytics. I like Kissmetrics as well, but it can get pricy as a site gets more visitors.
Thank you for the business. I really do appreciate it.
Bill
