    Bill,

What is the Buttons tabs in Theme options used for. I don’t see any buttons on the site except for what is used in the Hero section, but those have individual controls. The only example I see is where you have a button on the home page of the demo that comes in as part of the animation. But overall I don’t see where you can add any buttons, I do see in the Instructions that there is a shortcode. I see that this what is being referred. Unfortunately when I use it I get a why box around it. I am using a image for the background.

The color options in the buttons tab control the post comment button, search form button as well as the shortcode buttons.

I can take a look at the box for you around the shortcode. I don’t see it up on your site. Most likely it’s a background color that’s getting picked up by the paragraph tag surrounding the button.

If you want to add it in and let me know it’s there and where to find it specifically, I’ll take a look for you.

    Bill,

Here is a test page with the Lead and Button shortcode. I pulled up the Inspector and it looked like it’s coming from the pre class=”line-pre”. Here is the html below and a pic. If I remove the background color and border from the Pre class, it goes away. Something WP is adding in the shortcode possibly.

The text above is a test

I’ve included a before and after pic to show the difference. I also noticed that the text is missing it’s styling. Not sure why.

Gotcha. If there is a pre in it, that most likely came from copying and pasting the shortcode. Often when code is placed on a web page it is wrapped in pre tags. Try switching to the visual editor and remove any tags before and after the shortcode.

Yep that worked! I never new that would have done that. I copy and past html all the time. Get because it wasn’t in the raw form I picked up some of your tags from the instructions page. Thanks.
