Blog and side bars

Right now it is very difficult to differentiate between blogs and items on the side bars. I need a line or a divider that I could add, so that there is a visual division between blogs.
Any ideas?

The best way to split up posts is to use a featured image with every post. They appear above the title in each post. Also you tend to get best results by using the “excerpt” instead of the full content option for you the blog. That way users have to click through to each post in order to read it. That helps increase commenting since the only way to comment is on the single view. If they read the full post in the blog archive, they are less likely to comment.
