    I’ve tried to set images for slideshow and as featured images for pages. I’ve done both, and either as the only option.

    But I’m not getting any background images.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Just an FYI, I’m a pretty new wordpress and css user.

    Christopher,

    All newcomers are welcome. I think the problem may be with a plugin conflict. The theme has a lightbox script included with it that’s also being added by a plugin. In the theme options, select no where it asks about including the lightbox gallery.

    Hopefully that will clear up the conflict and bring up the background.
