Hi Bill,
Thank you so much for designing this theme. I was asked to help out a family whose daughter was diagnosed with leukemia and the fundraising exceeded the goal within a month of setting up the site. sarahwielgosfund.com
In preparation for the bone marrow transplant the family would like me to set up a prayer page with a prayer counter if possible. I was thinking I could adapt a web page counter code for this. Do you have any other suggestions

That’s great that you guys were able to meet your fundraising goal so quickly.
You can certainly add in an old fashioned page counter to track that for you. That would probably be the easiest way to go about it.

There are lots of visitor counters on the web. If you just type in “free web page hit counters” into Google, it will pull up all kinds of web sites. You will need to copy and paste the code for the type of counter you want to use into your site, most people put hit counters at the bottom of their pages. Google analytics also has great tracking codes you can use with examples of the style of counter you can use as well so there are lots of free options.

Thank you, Jeff. They wanted an interactive counter, one that visitors click instead of one that shows the number of hits, and I was able to get that code installed thanks to a plugin Bill suggested. Unfortunately, it doesn’t store the clicks and the counter zeros out when the visitor leaves. I didn’t know how to set it up to store the clicks, so they set up a facebook page for now.
