Additional Elements for Groups

For my inquiry, the website (which is not “live”) does not matter, as this is more of a development question. I have attached a screenshot of the admin section in question.
I am searching for a way to add an additional “sub heading” section for Menu Groups. I have already created an additional Price section in the admin for each menu item, however I am having trouble locating the php file that is processing the Menu Groups section. The Description field will act as what I need, however I need to be able to utilize HTML in the input field.
Any feedback will be helpful.
Thank you very much.
Dustin,
Excellent question there. The description area that’s in your screenshot is created automatically by WordPress for taxonomies (things like post categories, staff groups, menu groups and so on).
There is a plugin called Rich Text Tags (https://wordpress.org/plugins/rich-text-tags/) that lets says will allow you to use the editor from pages/posts in your taxonomy descriptions. That editor has a “text” tab that you can use to enter HTML. If it works, that would be the simplest option.
If you have trouble/questions, just let me know.
Thanks,
Bill
