Adding link and in footer

Hello Bill,

How would I use html in the footer? If I use the theme options, it strips out the html. I’d like to put a break between two lines (since the Umami section is more vertical and not a lot of space to string it out), and also place a link into the copyright information.

Good Morning Susan,

You are correct in that that option does strip out HTML. I’ve been replacing the text input in my themes with a WYSIWYG field to give users a bit more flexibility as I’ve been making theme updates. I have an update scheduled for today because of last night’s bug and it also happens to include the WYSIWYG field.

It should show up in your updates section shortly. Once it’s applied you should be able to add in html there.
