    Hi Bill,

    We want to make the homepage have two columns. I thought I could use the Sidebar function. When I enable that feature, the sidebar shows on subpages, but not on the Homepage.

    What would be the best way to split the homepage in half and have two areas where we can place widgets?

    Peter,

    In a sense you already have a sidebar on the home page since the page’s content is made up of widgets. If you add in widgets after the recent posts widget on your home page, they’ll line up on the right side next to the posts. That’s how to create a “sidebar” there. It won’t be in a separate widget area, but visually it’ll look like that on the front end of the site.
