    I want to add a banner on the top of the homepage for my website to highlight a new service the company is offering. I am thinking of the type of banner that some companies use to highlight a sale or a coupon deal. Is that possible with this theme?

    Hi Sarah,

    Have you looked at the DW Promoter plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/dw-promobar/). It’s a very lightweight plugin that lets you add a notification banner across the top of your site. Unlike a lot of similar plugins, it doesn’t come with thousands of options, but just adds a simple banner there with your text and colors.
