    Hi Bill

    I would like to add some text to the Bottega home page for user readability – a welcome statement – and for SEO purposes.

    I am thinking of a child theme then editing the Home Page Template (page-home.php) to add a div after #home-media and before #features.

    Have you thought about adding text to the Bottega home page?
    Is there a better approach that you would suggest?

    Another good question. Bottega is our one theme with a widget based home page that also has a spot to display the content from the home page. Just enter any text you’d like to have on your home page like you would on any other page and it’ll be added there for you.

    It appears right below the slider above the featured row.
