Video Embedding Issue

I am having an issue embedding videos following the instructions as outlined on this page

The instructions work when I put the code in the main page but when I place it in the
special video code of the page, it does not work. same for when I try to do it for the home page slideshow.

What could I be missing?

Also is the size of the video for the slide show same as picture sizes?

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Hello Paul,

Great question there. For the video boxes in the theme (for the slider, video widget and also video pages/posts) that video is the video embed code that you would get from a video service like YouTube or Vimeo.

In YouTube it can be found in the sharing options and typically starts with an iframe tag vs just the URL to the video’s page on one of those services.

The theme will pull the correct size video for you from those services. They’ll end up being the same size as the images are.
