    Hi Bill,
    I’d like to make my top nav buttons just labels, not links. For instance, the About Us top nav button will not link to the About us page, only mouse-over for the drop down. In the drop down, I would like to have the clickable About Us page link. Is this possible?

    Regarding widget text styling. In my sidebar, I have the hours listed using the text widget. I am trying to apply bold and it doesn’t seem to want to apply the bold. If I put in an H3 tag it applies. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

    Thanks for your assistance!

    Good Morning Robyn,

    Great question. Adding an “empty” link can be done. Go to the Appearance section and select Menus. On the left you’ll see the content you can add in. Find the spot for links. There will be a URL field there. What you’ll want to do is remove the http:// that’s there by default and replace it with a #. Then add a label like “About” and add it to your navigation menu. You can then arrange it like you would a page, but it’ll only be a placeholder that doesn’t go anywhere when clicked.

    For the bold, I noticed at the start of the text widget there is a stray quotation mark here:

    <bold">

    You may also want to think about using

    <strong>

    for the bold.

    I hope that helps out. Have a great week and let me know if you have any other questions,
    Bill
