Staff Page question

I’m really loving this theme so far, and the support forums have been really helpful – I’ve found answers to several questions already!

One thing I’m trying to do is modify my Staff page to show some introduction text that applies to our whole team at the top of the page, above the listing of individual staff members. Is there a way to do this?

Jason,

Thank you for your business first of all. Good question too. You can add in some introductory text before your staff groups. Here’s how to do that:

1. Go to the Appearance section in your WordPress control panel and select Edit.
2. From the list of files on your right, choose page-staff.php and find this spot:

   
   <h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1>
   

3. Replace that with this:

   and save your changes.

Now you can write content into the page where you’re using the staff page template and it will appear above the staff listing.
