Good morning Bill,
I love the feature with the product buttons ” Custom Product””Dresses” “Shirts”. I have a similar setup and would love to include those buttons on my images that will take folks to different pages around the website. Also a feature when the image gets highlighted when you click on it.
I am not installing woo commerce yet. Do I need woo commerce to do that ? or is there a different approach? I have tried page builder buttons widget but it does not look as good.

Hey Denis,
Excellent question there. Those images and links are made with WooCommerce product categories. The widget that displays them uses the category image and title with that effect. There isn’t a version of that in the theme that works without WooCommerce. I believe I’ll add one in the next major update to the theme as I know that would be useful, but as of now there isn’t one.
You might take a look at this plugin — https://wordpress.org/plugins/codelights-shortcodes-and-widgets/ . It has an “interactive banner” widget — https://codelights.com/elements/ib/ that might also work for you.
