    Hello,

    Is there a way to build my website on private mode and just turn it into public when it’s ready?

    Joao,

    Great question. You can do that with a coming soon plugin. I’m working on a new project at the moment and have enjoyed one called Coming Soon CC (https://wordpress.org/plugins/cc-coming-soon/). For users who aren’t logged in, they see an attractive splash page. When you’re logged in you see the normal site.
