    Hi,
    I’ll use the plugin Polylang to translate my website.
    And I need different menues for the different languages.
    In the documentation I found:
    “Your theme must support custom navigation menus for the following to work (for programmers, it means that the theme must call ‘register_nav_menu’) and must use a theme location in the function ‘wp_nav_menu’, i.e.
    wp_nav_menu(array(‘theme_location’ => ‘primary’)); is OK
    wp_nav_menu(array(‘menu’ => ‘nav menu’)); is not OK”
    See: http://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/setting-up-a-wordpress-multilingual-site-with-polylang/navigations-menus/

    Will this work with the theme Foxy? Where can I see this? Can I change this, if it is not present?

    Thank you in advance!

    Olaf,

    Glad to hear the navigation menu worked for you. I would imagine that the plugin will let you create food menus in multiple languages. Our menu system works basically like WordPress posts do so I would expect that to work since they function like posts do.

    You’ll probably want to create unique menu groups for each language. So if you have a breakfast menu, you’ll need a menu group for breakfast in one language and one for breakfast in a different language. That should let you have all you content in both languages.

    If you have any trouble, let me know.

    Have a great week,
    Bill
