Hi Bill,

As an early adopter of “Foxy” I noticed you transitioned that navigation to a expandable div in the more recent update.

I’d love to do a similar thing for Bottega. I think my header is become to text-heavy. And when I comment out the nav, the design definitely works much better. Any pointers?

Hey Nick,

You can swap out the built in navigation menu for something else. Two options that I’ve used are TinyNav (http://tinynav.viljamis.com) and Slick Nav (http://slicknav.com). On Foxy, we use Tinynav for the smaller screen navigation. On Umami, I use SlickNav for the navigation on all sized screens. Both work well. If you’re going to use to use the new navigation on all resolutions, you might look at SlickNav first.
