Map Link

Hi Bill –

I’m using your slick Hours & Contact widget. There is a place to add “Link to Map”. I assume this is so if the visitor clicks on the address it opens a Google Map? I’ve added a google map short code but when I click the address on the Nav bar it gets a “page not found error”. I used WP Google Maps to generate the short code and I’ve verified it does indeed create the right map. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Susan,

Good question. That spot is for a URL to a map. It’s not a spot for a shortcode, but something like http://maps.google.com will go in there. What you would do is create your map in Google Maps. In the sharing spot where you can find the embed code you’ll also be able to find a link to that map. That’ll be the one you want to use here.
