Hey Bill,
Quick question. Is there a way to get a sermon to show up in the “Current Series” box when it’s not actually part of a series? Our pastor doesn’t always preach in series and it would be great to be able to still have the most recent sermon show up there!?Thanks in advance!
Good Question Micah,
There’s not a individual message widget in the theme (though I may add one). What you could do is create a “series” for messages that aren’t in a series. That’s how we handle them at our church. Then you could move that “series” up to the top of the list on a week when a message has been shared that’s not in a series. There’s a plugin called Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order (https://wordpress.org/plugins/taxonomy-terms-order/) that can let you use drag and drop to arrange your series.
On a totally unrelated note, I ended up adding in support for a second level drop-down menu to the theme in case you need to use it. You’ll get better results if you only use it on top level items that are far from the right.
