Good Morning Ana,
Great question here. This is one occasion where it’s a Mac/PC issue but is screen size related. The home block images are background images. They are set that way so that we can have the scrolling effect that we do on the home page. But that means that as the screen size gets smaller, they will be cropped on the left/right hand side.
Once the screen reaches the size of an iPad, those images are swapped out for foreground images. Most mobile devices have trouble with “parallax” scrolling so we make that that change there too.
Your friend has a desktop that is bigger than an iPad, but smaller than what you’re using. That’s why they are seeing the cropped text.
What I would do is edit that image and make the text a bit smaller. You need some buffer space in the image so that as it crops, it doesn’t impact the text. To be on the safe side, I would suggest making the text portion of the image 790 pixels wide.
Give that a shot and let me know how it goes.
Have a great day,
Bill
