    Hi Bill,

    I’ve seen three different suggestions for background image sizes in different places:
    2000×1500
    1500×1000
    1400×800

    I’m showing off the photography but also want my site to load quickly.
    What do you suggest?

    Also, for images within a post or page, do you suggest the staff sizes 200×300?

    Good question. Over time screens have gotten both larger and smaller. I would probably go with something around 2000 pixels wide by 1200 to 1500 pixels tall for the background images. That way you’re in good shape for people on large devices. You can still make those reasonably small file size wise to keep the site loading quickly.

    For the staff, I would make them 200 by 300.
