    Bill,

    I know you recommend WP Engine for hosting. I have used it and they are great. However, a family member is interested in blogging but can’t afford that due to their disability. Are you aware of a more affordable or free option for a wordpress site?

    Hi Scott,

    If the site will be pretty simple or just a blog, you could certainly go with wordpress.com. If you do need a self-hosted site, GoDaddy has pretty good hosting that would be cheaper than WP Engine is. Lots of people also like SiteGround too. Those are spots you might look too.
