    So I’m trying to add the Facebook widget to the “Home Bottom” widget on my home page, but when I enter my FB url into the widget, there is no change on the home page.

    Possibly noteworthy: I brought my footer up considerably on the style.css by using .home-top { margin-bottom: 21px; } at the bottom of the stylesheet. Is that related to my problem??

    Thanks for sending over the link. It looks like the page there is actually a personal profile page. Facebook only lets their “fan pages” use the like box. It’s not available for individuals or Facebook groups.

    You might consider creating a Facebook page and moving your content and people there. That’ll get you around some of the limitations that an individual profile has like not using the like box and also the 5,000 person limit on friends that they have too. Just a thought.
