    Hi Bill,

Is it possible to make the menu items that appear on the home page navigation from being clicked on/opening into new pages? (I.e., I want the menu items that appear on the home page to act as headings for the pages the appear below, not be their own pages.)

Does that make sense? Thank you so much for your help.

    Hello Emily,

You can do that. What you’ll want to do is go the Appearance section and select Menus. On the left hand side of the screen you should see a spot for “links.” Click on it and you’ll have a spot where you can create a custom link. In the URL field, take out the http:// that’s already there and replace it with a # . In the label spot, enter the text you’d like to have in your navigation menu. Then add it to your navigation and position it like you want it to be. Repeat that for as many items as you need and save your changes.

That should do it for you. If you have trouble, let me know.

    Have a great week,
    Bill
