Question- I’d like to add styling to the text in the Staff Member page, but it isn’t letting me. Ideas?

Charles,

The theme is set to strip out images there, but it also removes things like bold and italics too. You can change that though. Here’s how:

1. Go to the appearance section and select edit to open up the theme editor.
2. From the list of files on your right, choose archive-staff.php.
3. Look for this spot:

   
   <?php the_content_limit(400, "Read More"); ?>
   

4. Replace that with this:

5. Save your changes.

That will replace the shortened version with the full content, but it will give you the ability to add text styling with the visual editor too. You can set a cut off for the text shown on the list view by clicking the “more” button where you’d like to have it cut off.
