Form Captcha

Morning Bill,

I noticed you dont’s use Captcha on your forms. How do you prefer to protect your forms from spam? Is there a plugin you like to use?

Hi Denis,

There are two things I do with my forms to combat spam. I run the entries through Akismet; it’s one of the options that Gravity Forms has. The second thing I do is have a required, but non-standard form element. Like on my contact form, it’s the reason for contact question. The default option is empty, but a choice is required to successfully submit the form. Bots just don’t seem to make that work. The ones that do get picked up by Akismet.
