I tried to add a new plug-in, “Sign-up Sheets Lite” but when I did, it gave me a Fatal Message instead of my WordPress console. I can no longer access the console page whatseover.

Here is the full message I’m now given: Fatal error: Class ‘WP_List_Table’ not found in E:inetpubvhostsariseellensburg.orghttpdocswp-adminincludeslist-table.php on line 86

What did I do wrong? And, more importantly, how can I get back to my administration console?

    Thanks.

    Jeff,

I’m not certain what triggered it, but this is how you can get your site back up.

    1. Use either a FTP program or the file browser that’s part of your web host’s control panel.
    2. Browse to the wp-content/plugins folder and look for the one that looks like it belongs to “Sign-up Sheets Lite.”
    3. Change the name of the folder.

That should let you back into your site. You can actually manually deactivate any theme or plugin that way. It’s a way to get back in if you trigger a fatal error that locks you out.

If you have any trouble, let me know,
    Bill
