    Hi Guys,

In the installation info for this theme it states the following:

The theme includes built in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) that provides page titles, descriptions as well as Facebook meta tags (that helps when people share your content on Facebook). If you’d like to use the built in SEO, then just select “yes” to include it and then enter a description for your home page.

I can’t see anything SEO related under:

Appearance > Theme Options > General Options or any of the other tabs.

I don’t recall the “yes” option any where. How do I go about modifying page titles and descriptions for WordPress pages? Note Pages not Posts as I am mainly using WordPress as a CMS rather than a blog platform.

    Many thanks,
    Adrian

    Hello Adrian,

Sorry for the trouble there. We removed the built-in SEO titles and descriptions from our themes and instead would encourage everyone to use the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin ( http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/ ) to handle titles and descriptions. It does an excellent job of handling your titles and descriptions.

Thanks for letting me know that the reference was still in the theme instructions. I’ll remove that now.

If you have any questions, just let me know.

    Thanks,
    Bill
