Can more than one person "Post via e-mail" to their assigned categories?

Bill, we still have not published our site. Is it possible for more than one person to “Post via e-mail” to their assigned categories?
For example:
John to category 1, Sue to category 2, Tom to category 3, and Jake to categories 1 and 3?

I’ll be honest, I don’t know. I found a support thread from wp.com that says each user needs to register their email address at wp.com (http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/post-by-email-multi-authors) and then it would work. Post by email is part of Jetpack now (which is part of wp.com), so it’s plausible.
