    I recently used the update feature in WordPress to update Epic. It loaded Slocum Themes ‘Epic Pro’ instead! Not cool… I just wanted to make you aware in case it’s something that is hijacking your theme.

    Sorry for the trouble there Jerry. WordPress looks for theme updates from the wordpress.org directory based on name. After my Epic theme was originally released, there was a free one added to the directory. It’s occasionally caught unsuspecting users ever since.

    If you’ll download the current version from our downloads page (https://support.organizedthemes.com/downloads/) and install it, that should keep this from happening again. It has dashboard updates for the theme from us and turns off the wordpress.org check.
