Blubrry Plugin creating weird text

I use the Blubrry podcast plugin to push my podcast content from a post (I haven’t migrated over to your podcasting system since this was the plugin and tracking system I had set up before we moved to an Authentic theme). Recently, I noticed that it has been adding the direct link to the media on the podcast posts landing page:

http://theorchardoxford.net/category/podcast/

But not on an individual post page:
http://theorchardoxford.net/2015/07/rescue-blues-5/

Any ideas about what could be the issue? I would like that direct link text removed from the podcast landing page.

Hello Pat,

That is unusual. I haven’t used PowerPress much recently so this is my best guess as to what’s happening. If your blog section is set to show the full content vs. the excerpt, try switching to showing the excerpt.

There is a filter that plugins often use to add content to posts and it’s possible that it’s being used here to add in the podcast file details. Hopefully switching to the excerpt will take that out since that filter isn’t used with the excerpt.

If that doesn’t do the trick, let me know,
