Blog landing page issue

So, I started posting some dummy posts on my site. They show up fine in the widget “recent posts” but nothing shows up in the blog landing page. I’m not sure how to have the page where excerpts of the posts and their thumbnail featured image show up in descending date order. Any help here?

Guess I was assuming there’d be a page template in the attributes drop-down on the edit page.

Hi Durand,

Good question. It sounds like you need to designate that page to be the “posts” page with WordPress. Go to the Settings section in your WordPress dashboard and click on Reading. At the top of that page is a spot to designate what your front page displays. Next to the drop-down where you select your home page is a different one for the “posts page” which is your blog. Choose your page there and update your settings. That should cause your posts to be pulled in there.
