Add links to the bottom of the Foxy website (footer)

Hi There,

I was wondering how I go about having
links at the bottom of each page that link to important pages like Terms & Conditions.

Important pages that are required but can be subtlety linked to via the bottom of the site.

Hello James,

Excellent question. You can do that. Go to the appearance section in your WordPress dashboard and click on theme options. On the first tab there you’ll find a small editor window for the footer content. You can use it to enter in text and links.

After you enter in your links there update your settings and that should take care of it.

I’m glad you mentioned that. It looks like a recent WordPress update may have changed the mini-editor we use there just a bit. I don’t see the link button anymore.

Let’s do it this way. Click the text link that’s at the top of the text box there. This tab lets you enter text and HTML. We can add links manually. Here’s what a link looks like in HTML:

<a href="http://yourlink.com">Your link text</a>

(Make sure to copy that from the support site and not the notification email)

The http://yourlink.com is the URL you’d like to link to and the Your link text is the text that will become a link on the front end of your site.
