Creating a Multilingual Site
Often times we need to have a site that is published in more than one language. While WordPress is published in numerous languages, it does not support multi language sites in an intelligent fashion out of the box.
The best way to set up a multilingual WordPress site is with the WPML plugin (http://wpml.org). This plugin allows you to create translations of every page, post, navigation menu and widget on your site and server them to the correct visitor.
The even offer translation services if you need to have a site, but can’t tackle the translation on your own. Plus with professional translators you won’t end up with incorrect translations like you will with a computer based translation.
